Christmas 1999 : Kari and I drove to Sequim Wasghington to visit her mom and Bob. We had our tradtional oyster plate and spirits and a great time! Kari and I went to the Dungenuss River near an old train bridge while we were there. We came home and went to Trinas for breakfast Christmas morning and to the Childers for Christmas dinner.

Christmas 2000 : On Christmas eve kari and I did our Kris Kringles an O'Brien tradition. We had breakfast at Trinas Christmas day then dinner at the Childers. On the 26th, the girls came home and we celebrated Christmas with them.

Christmas 2001 : Kari and I drove to Sequim Wasghington to visit her mom and Bob. Again we had our traditional oysters, spirits and a great time. We stayed a few days just enjoying the company andd atmosphere. We were lucky enough to see the elk heard this visit. The heard was camped out in Joan and Bobs backyard for a few hours. What a magnificent site.

Christmas 2003 : We spent X-Mas at Kari's mom's place in Sequim Washington. We stayed at Jolene and Aaron's place for two nights. Then Kari, Tim, Karyn, Jolene, Aaron and Ryan drove up to Joan and Bob's place for two nights. We had christmas eve oysters and then a wonderful ham dinner. Then christmas breakfast from chef Bob. A christmas tour of the ocean from tour guide Bob. Then oysters, shrimp and prime rib for dinner by Joan.

Christmas 2004 : Kari and I drove to Sequim Washington (20-23 Dec 2004) to visit her mom and Bob. We spent two great days there. On the way back home we visited Kari's sister Lisa and her family in Bremerton Washington. Christmas day we went to Trina's for breakfast. Later that day, we went to Mark's for a prime rib dinner. The day after Christmas, we picked Karyn up from the airport and that evening opened our gifts together.

Christmas 2005 : Christmas 2005 was spent on the farm. The Brown family and Karyn came to visit. The Marks and Childers came over X-mas eve. Kari and the girls cooked for days. It was a wonderful time with the great company and the best food.

Christmas 2006 : Karyn, Kari and I enjoyed a quiet Christmas morning together. We had coffee and opened presents. Kari made a wonderful breakfast. The Brown's came over early afternoon and we exchanged presents. Later in the evening, Aaron's parents joined us for dinner. We had a great feast and a wonderful time.

Easter 2006 : Kari and I woke up to morning coffee and a hot tub. We spent the day preparing for Easter dinner. We had a campfire in the backyard. Kari cooked supper in the dutch oven. We had chicken and mushrooms stuffed with crab meat. What a great meal it was. It always taste better over a campfire.

New Years Day 2005 : The Thursday before New Years, Jolene, Aaron and Ryan came to visit. New Years Eve, we had an open house from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm. The Childer's, Hillis's, Mark's, Les, Mark and Tara came to help us bring in the New Year. We had great food and a memorable time. On New Years Day, Henry, Lisa and Tessa came over for a prime rib dinner. The day after, Jolene and Aaron cooked a wonderful breakfast.

Thanksgiving 2003 : We met the Childers at Union Creek for Thanksgiving. Union Creek is on the way up to Crater Lake. We stayed in a two bedroom cabin along the creek. We had dinner their. We took walks along the creek and to the Rogue River Gorge. A few of the neighbor kids built some of the best snowmen we have ever seen.

Thanksgiving 2004 : We had Thanksgiving at the farm this year. Billy, Anne, Patrick and Lliam came from Califonia and Jolene, Aaron and Ryan came from Newberg. We had campfires, roasted marshmellows and the boys played in the hay stacks. It turned out to be sunny on Thursday so we had Thanksgiving dinner on the deck.

Thanksgiving 2008 : This year we celebrated Thanksgiving with Nancy at her cozy yellow cottage. We had a great meal, great company and nice conversations. Then Kari and I went to the river for a second Thanksgiving! Boy did we eat a lot today. We had an awesome time! The Brownies arrived about midnight. The girls all went shopping on Black Friday while the boys hung out on the farm.
