Illinois Valley Trail Hike : We took a hike with Greg and Holly Hillis down by the Illinois River (Dec 2001). Kari and I were going to buy a cabin out in this area near the river. We were going there to see what the cabin looked like. But we were given the wrong directions and couldn't find it. As it turned out, the cabin burned down in the Biscut fire.

Miller Lake : In June of 2003 Kari and I hiked to Miller Lake. The lake is at the top of a 6000 ft mountain. We drove up the mountain most of the way then we hiked in a mile to the lake. We brought a picnic basket and had a nice lunch.
